Join a University Shaping the Future of Civic Innovation

Vice-President for Regional Innovation and Civic Engagement
The University of Manchester

Manchester is proud to be the world’s first modern civic university — and we’re just getting started. As we look ahead to our Manchester 2035 Strategy, civic engagement and innovation remain at the heart of our mission.

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our executive team as Vice-President for Regional Innovation and Civic Engagement. This is a pivotal role for a visionary individual who will:

  • Lead the development and delivery of our civic and innovation strategy
  • Shape national and regional partnerships that drive real-world impact
  • Collaborate across the University to embed civic values into everything we do
  • Represent the University at the highest levels, both internally and externally

As a member of the University Executive, you will help steer the strategic direction of one of the UK’s most ambitious institutions, while championing projects that make a difference locally, nationally, and globally.

Ready to lead change where it matters most? and help shape the future of civic innovation at Manchester.
